    1. What a cookie is<\/h2>\n

    A cookie is a small text file that the site saves in your browser. On your next visit, the site reads it and remembers something about you: that you have a product in your basket, that you are logged in, or that you have already answered the consent banner.<\/p>\n

    Similar technologies fall into the same category: localStorage<\/b>, sessionStorage<\/b> and tracking pixels. We treat them the same way.<\/p>\n\n

    2. What we rely on when we use them<\/h2>\n

    We set strictly necessary cookies without asking for your consent, because without them the site does not work. The basis is legitimate interest, and Law no. 506\/2004<\/b> allows the exception for cookies strictly necessary to provide the service you requested.<\/p>\n

    For all the others<\/b>, analytics and marketing, we ask for your explicit consent through the banner shown on your first visit, in accordance with art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Until you press \u201cAccept\u201d, they do not load.<\/p>\n

    A \u201cReject\u201d is just as easy to give as an \u201cAccept\u201d, and it puts you at no disadvantage when shopping.<\/p>\n\n

    Basket, checkout and account cookies appear only after you perform the relevant action. If you are only reading the site, they are not set.<\/p>\n\n

    5. Analytics cookies<\/h2>\n

    They load only after your consent<\/b>. We use them to understand which pages are useful and where we lose people, at an aggregate level. We do not try to identify you personally from them.<\/p>\n
