We started from a label comparison<\/em>.<\/h1>\n\t\t\t\t\t

We looked at what is sold as Omega-3 in Romania, turned the bottles around and read the small print on the back. The DHA figures did not convince us.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n

The starting point<\/p>\n

The problem was not a lack of options.<\/h2>\n

The shelves are full of Omega-3. The problem is that the label says \u201c1000 mg fish oil\u201d in large letters, while the amount of DHA, the substance that actually matters, appears in small print, if at all.<\/p>\n

Many products deliver under 250 mg DHA per recommended daily dose. Below the threshold at which the European authority recognises any effect. It is not a breach of the rules, it is simply communication that counts on nobody turning the bottle around.<\/p>\n

We built the product we wanted to buy ourselves:<\/b> with the dosage written large on the front, not hidden on the back.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
